Antonietta Collins

Antonietta Tonite Gonzalez-Collins is a Mexican-American sportscaster. She is the host of SportsNation and is an anchor for SportsCenter anchor. She joined ESPN in 2016. was a part of ESPN. She's the daughter of TV reporter Maria Antonieta Collins. Antonietta has been bilingual since the age of nine. Her skill was instrumental in helping her land her first position as an assistant to the production team at Univision Miami in which she was a producer of numerous shows, including Nuestra Belleza Latina and Premios Lo Nuestro Premios Juventud. Then she was hired by the CBS station located in St. Petersburg employed her as a sports reporter. Then she moved into Rio Grande Valley in 2009 to work as a reporter on KNVO TV 48 Univision. Spanish channels KNVO TV 48 Univision, as well as Fox2 News. Reporters covered issues related to immigration and drug trafficking in both Texas as well as Mexico. On a family vacation in Ohio, the young Collins was able to take a job with her older sister. Antonietta was a senior high school student however, she had a clear idea of her career goals. She visited Mount Union University in order to find out if the school was suitable for her. In the end, she loved the school and the university offered the degree she was searching for. Her high school graduation was in the spring of 2004 and began studying media at the university. Mark Bergmann was her professor and the manager of WRMU in which she is a member. They had a very close connection. It was he who inspired her confidence, and his passion for Journalism deeply touched her. As a result, she was determined to exceed his expectations, never letting him down.
